It appears that Kaiser is retaliating against the only prosecutor who has dared to stand up to them in a very long time

Ever since Rocky went public in February with his sponsorship of legislation to "criminalize homeless patient dumping," and go after corporate medical entities like Kaiser Permanente, someone has been conducting a non stop smear campaign.

The only
prosecutor with guts enough in many, many years to stand up to Kaiser did the right thing and took a stand to clean up the disgrace that they and other medical entities were creating on the City of Los Angeles by dumping medical patients on skid row.

Ok - so the intent of whoever is behind this campaign is to make the voters not trust
Rocky.

This is so transparent and so reminiscent of the Kaiser 6 companies days. What will we hear next? Do we get to hear every fifteen minutes this next week how his son got a "C" in school? The news about his wife non stop this past week has been about as news worthy. At least it was after about the 50th time of hearing it. She did wrong. She took care or it. The entire family is embarrassed. She is sorry.

The entire matter pales in comparison to dumping little old ladies on skid row dressed in only a nightgown. Especially ones suffering from dementia.

Now that Kaiser can not justify it's actions and got some negative PR for their deplorable actions the not non-profit appears to be trying to intimidate the City Attorney for the City of L.A.

I hope that he doesn't give in under their tactics.

It is refreshing to watch someone with integrity on the job, especially in Los Angeles. Yes, I used that integrity word. It is more than anyone can say about people or corporations that dump little old ladies, with dementia on skid row wearing only a nightgown.

Certainly, no one would condone any wrong doing from positions of supposed integrity. Just as no one should tolerate physicians, administrators and corporations that claim integrity while dumping senile, half dressed patients in the middle of skid row and then try to deny that it is company policy.

But I guess I forgot - for Kaiser - the end justifies the means - just like it did with 6 companies.
